TEJ ELISA GAYTAN-LEGORRETA - Lead Guide, South Primary class

Tej received her Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture from Universidad Nacional Autonoma de Mexico in Mexico City, in 1981.   Following her son, Tej workedat Post Oak Montessori (POMS) school in Texas for 10 years, teaching Spanish and assisting in all classrooms and levels, which inspired her to pursue her Association Montessori International certification.  In 1994, she completed her certification from the Centro de Estudios de Educacion Montessori, A.C. as an AMI Primary Guide.

Tej has over 20 years of experience working as a Montessori Guide and is excited to be a part of the La Mariposa community. She looks forward to sharing her joy, passion and love of learning as well as her Spanish language and culture with La Mariposa’s youngest children in the South Class.
