ISABELLA BENITEZ-CORDOVA - Guide, East Primary class

At the tender age of 2-1/2, Isabella (Bella) was enrolled at La Mariposa Montessori, where she was fortunate to receive her early childhood and elementary education. She grew to count on the joyful experience she found at school each day, along with the loving guidance and support she received from her teachers.

After graduating high school in Largo, Fl, her family returned to New Mexico, where she was excited for the opportunity to work at La Mariposa over the summer. Nine years later Bella continues to be an anchor in the Primary community.

Bella completed both the Toddler and Primary Montessori training certificates through the North American Montessori Training Center. Bella has been both an assistant teacher and a lead teacher at La Mariposa and is excited to work alongside Augusta Durham in the East Primary Class for the upcoming 2025-2026 school year.
